Registration for 2022 Alternative Fall Break is Here! 

 

AFB is a great way for UVA students to get involved with different organizations in Charlottesville!  

This year we are working with the following organizations:

​

• Habitat for Humanity (Built Site)

• Habitat for Humanity (Store)

• The Haven

• Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry

• Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards

• Camp Holiday Trails

• Rivanna Trail Foundation

 

Most volunteering shifts will be a 3 - 4 hour time commitment, and participants can register for as many shifts as they're able to attend! Alternative Fall Break is completely free for UVA students, and all participants will receive a t-shirt and food!

If you were previously a participant for ASB or AFB, apply to be a site leader!

​

The time commitment is minimal and involves leading reflections, a short workshop on how to lead reflections, and coordinating arrival and departure times for the site!
